Jonathan, a lawyer based in South Africa, finds his true passion in painting. Amidst the challenges of living through Covid, riots, floods, and corruption in South Africa, he noticed that many people around him, including himself, slipped into a negative mindset. This realization sparked his desire to inspire a positive mindset change through his art. Jonathan believes in the transformative power of art to convey strong messages and positively impact the viewer's mindset.
His work is characterized by the use of bright colors and strong, vivid characters, bringing energy and life to his portraits. Constantly experimenting with new techniques, Jonathan pushes the boundaries of his creativity. Through his art, he aims to change his own outlook and, in turn, inspire those around him to find joy and hope. Jonathan hopes to encourage others to pick up a brush and discover the transformative power of painting.
